We are excited to announce that registration for the Oneonta City School District Extended Day Program is now open! 

To register, please visit MySchoolBucks and navigate to the Activities section. There, you will find all the necessary details and can complete your child’s registration. (See instructions below)

Change in Enrollment Options: We will no longer be able to offer drop-in or part-time enrollment options for our after-school program. This decision was made after careful consideration and is based on several key factors:

  1. Consistency and Quality of Care: To ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for all children, it is essential for our staff to have a stable and predictable group of students. This allows us to better plan activities, manage resources, and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.

  2. Safety and Supervision: Maintaining a safe environment is our top priority. Full-time enrollment helps us to better track attendance and ensure that all children are accounted for at all times, reducing the risk of any safety concerns.

  3. Program Planning: With a consistent group of students, we can develop more cohesive and engaging programming. This stability allows children to build stronger relationships with their peers and staff, and benefit more fully from the educational and recreational activities we offer.

How to Sign Up and Register for the Extended Day Program Using MySchoolBucks

Step 1: Create a MySchoolBucks Account

  1. Visit the MySchoolBucks Website: Go to www.myschoolbucks.com on your web browser.

  2. Click on "Sign Up Free": You'll find this option on the homepage.

  3. Select Your State and School District: Choose your state and select "Oneonta City School District" from the drop-down menu.

  4. Enter Your Information: Provide your name, email address, and create a password. You’ll also need to agree to the terms of service.

  5. Verify Your Email Address: Check your email for a verification link from MySchoolBucks. Click on the link to confirm your account.

Step 2: Add Your Child(ren) to Your Account

  1. Log In to Your MySchoolBucks Account: Use your email and password to log in.

  2. Add a Student: Click on “My Students” from the dashboard.

  3. Enter Student Information: Provide your child’s school, student ID, and name as it appears on school records.

  4. Save the Information: Repeat this step for each child you wish to register.

Step 3: Register for the Extended Day Program

  1. Navigate to "MySchoolBucks Activities": From the dashboard, click on “MySchoolBucks Activities” at the top of the page.

  2. Select the Extended Day Program: Find the Extended Day Program under the available activities.

  3. Choose the Appropriate Program: Select the correct grade level or session for your child.

  4. Complete the Registration Form: Fill out any required information, such as session preferences, emergency contact details, and any other relevant details.

Step 5: Check Registration Status

  1. Log In to MySchoolBucks: You can always log back in to view your child’s registration status.

  2. Access MySchoolBucks Activities: Click on “MySchoolBucks Activities” and then “View Order History” to see your past orders.

Verify Your Registration: Make sure the Extended Day Program registration appears in your order history.
